Bio
I first learned to sew in high school when Home Economics was part of the curriculum. As a student, I created garments from commercial flat patterns using simple techniques and uncomplicated designs. This is where I discovered my lifelong passion for creating special clothing. For several years, I created garments for special occasions: wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, formal evening wear, cocktail garments, and children’s clothing from commercial patterns. One thing that always bothered me was that I could never find the right pattern for the design I wanted to create. I had to incorporate several flat patterns to create that special dress and always had difficulty fitting the garment properly.
Today, my team and I create almost anything imaginable. We have endless design ideas and are able to put these ideas on paper to create a design image and from there actually create the 3d garment. As graduates of the Fashion Design Program at New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, we have practiced and perfected our technical abilities, and tested the Fredericton Market. We work closely with clients to understand style preferences to create the perfect garment for each occasion. In our business, customer satisfaction is absolutely essential. Miss Patricia Fashions caters to moderate and high-end sophisticated professional women and men. Our clients may have difficulty purchasing “off the rack” clothing or have a particular fitting challenge. This includes clients with additional length requirements and width variations. We'll make you look your best. That's our guarantee. |
