2011 NBCCD Designer Challenge
Eight Fashion Design Students from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design participated in the 2011 Designer Challenge. The challenge was
to produce a garment using unconventional and conventional materials. All designers were required to produce a garment that used at least 50 percent
plastic materials. Guidelines were strict and acceptable materials included garbage bags, retail store bags, and even hay bags. This is the award winning garment produced by Patricia Galbraith of Miss Patricia Fashions. The entry placed first!
